PARLIAMENTARY ELECTION AMENDMENT ACT 1999

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Parliamentary Election
Act 1978:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title
1 This Act may be cited as the Parliamentary Election Amendment
Act 1999.

Interpretation
2 In this Act, the "principal Act" means the Parliamentary Election
Act 1978.

Amends section 15
3 Section 15(2) of the principal Act is amended by substituting
"15th May" for "1st April".

Amends section 17
4 Section 17 (2) of the principal Act is amended by substituting
"1st June" for "1st May".

Amends section 18
5 Section 18 (2) of the principal Act is amended by substituting
"1st June" for "1st May".

Amends section 26
6 Section 26 (5)(b) of the principal Act is amended by substituting
"1st June" for "1st May".
