LAND VALUATION AND TAX AMENDMENT ACT 1998

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Land Valuation and Tax
Act 1967:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Citation
1 This Act, which amends the Land Valuation and Tax Act 1967,
may be cited as the Land Valuation and Tax Amendment Act 1998.

Amends section 3 of Act No 227 of 1967
2 Section 3 of the Land Valuation and Tax Act 1967 is amended—

(a) by inserting next after subsection (1)(d) the following—

"(e) comprising a day nursery, or a nursery school,
in respect of which there is in force a valid
licence granted under the Public Health (Day
Nurseries and Nursery Schools) Regulations
1978;";

(b) by relettering paragraphs (e), (f), (g) and (h) of that
subsection as paragraphs (f), (g), (h) and (i) respectively;
and

(c) in subsection (2), by substituting "(1)(h)" for "(1)(g)".
