BERMUDA MONETARY AUTHORITY AMENDMENT ACT 1998

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Bermuda Monetary
Authority Act 1969:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Citation
1 This Act which amends the Bermuda Monetary Authority Act
1969 may be cited as the Bermuda Monetary Authority Amendment Act
1998.

Amends section 29 of Bermuda Monetary Authority Act 1969
2 Section 29 of the Bermuda Monetary Authority Act 1969 is
amended by inserting next after subsection (2) the following—

" (3) On an application for the classification of a
collective investment scheme under the Bermuda Monetary
Authority (Collective Investment Scheme Classification)
Regulations 1998, there shall be paid to the Authority such fee
as the Minister may, after consultation with the Board, from time

to time, prescribe in respect of such application under the
Government Fees Act 1965.".
