THE DOMESTIC VIOLENCE (PROTECTION ORDERS)
COMMENCEMENT DAY NOTICE 1997

The Minister of Labour, Home Affairs and Public Safety, in
exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 32 of the Domestic
Violence (Protection Orders) Act 1997, gives the following Notice:—

1 This Notice may be cited as the Domestic Violence (Protection
Orders) Commencement Day Notice 1997.

Commencement
2 3 October 1997 is appointed as the day on which the Domestic
Violence (Protection Orders) Act 1997 comes into operation.
