THE EDUCATION ACT 1996 COMMENCEMENT DAY NOTICE
1996

The Minister in exercise of the power conferred upon him by
section 1 of the Education Act 1996 gives the following Notice:—

1 This Notice may be cited as the Education Act 1996
Commencement Day Notice 1996.

Commencement day
2 The Education Act 1996, other than section 18(1) in its
application to maintained primary schools, shall come into operation on
6 December 1996.
