BERMUDA INTERNATIONAL CONCILIATION AND
ARBITRATION AMENDMENT ACT 1994

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Bermuda International
Conciliation and Arbitration Act 1993:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Citation
1 This Act which amends the Bermuda International Conciliation
and Arbitration Act 1993 may be cited as the Bermuda International
Conciliation and Arbitration Amendment Act 1994.

Amends section 25
2 Section 25 of the Bermuda International Conciliation and
Arbitration Act 1993 is amended—

(a) by renumbering the section as subsection (1); and

(b) by inserting next after subsection (1) the following:

" (2) Notwithstanding section 12 of the Court of
Appeal Act 1964 (jurisdiction of the Court of Appeal) the
Court of Appeal shall have jurisdiction to hear and

determine an application made to it pursuant to Article
34(2) of the Model Law.".
