HOTELS REFURBISHMENT (TEMPORARY CUSTOMS DUTY
RELIEF) AMENDMENT ACT 1993

WHEREAS it is expedient to amend the Hotels Refurbishment
(Temporary Customs Duty Relief) Act 1991:

Be it enacted by The Queen's Most Excellent Majesty, by and
with the advice and consent of the Senate and the House of Assembly of
Bermuda, and by the authority of the same, as follows:

Short title
1 This Act may be cited as the Hotels Refurbishment (Temporary
Customs Duty Relief) Amendment Act 1993.

Amends s 7 of Act No 5 of 1991
2 Section 7 of the Hotels Refurbishment (Temporary Customs Duty
Relief) Act 1991 ("section 7") is amended—

(a) in subsection (2), by deleting "1993" and substituting
"1994";

(b) in subsection (3), by deleting "1992" and "1993" and
substituting "1994" and "1995" respectively.

Saving
3 This Act does not affect the validity of anything lawfully done
under section 7 before the date of commencement of this Act; and any
rights conferred or obligations imposed on any person by virtue of

anything so done, being rights or obligations subsisting immediately
before that date, shall continue in full force and effect on and after that
date notwithstanding this Act.
