1. This Order may be cited as the

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COMPANIES (APPOINTMENT OF REGISTRAR) ORDER

2. In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 122(l) of the International Business Companies Act, Chapter 214A of the Laws of Belize, Revised Edition 1980-90 (as amended by Act No. 23 of 2000), and all other powers thereunto me enabling, I, RALPH H. FONSECA, Minister responsible for International Financial Services, do hereby appoint the Director General, International Financial Services Commission, ex officio, as the Registrar of International Business Companies.

3. The International Business Companies (Appointment of Registrar) Order, 1990, is hereby repealed.

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COMPANIES (VARIATION OF FEES) ORDER

[Section 144] [9th January, 1999.)

1. This Order may be cited as the

INTERNATIONAL BUSINESS COMPANIES (VARIATION OF FEES) ORDER

2. The fees prescribed in section 113 (h) and (i) of the Act for submission of articles of continuation are hereby varied as follows:-

“(h) $25.00 upon the submission to the Registrar of articles of continuation for a company not incorporated under the Companies Act the authorised capital of which does not exceed $50,000.00;

“(i) $25.00 upon the submission to the Registrar of articles of continuation for a company not incorporated under the Companies Act the authorised capital of which exceeds $50,000.00;”
