Citation
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Fisheries Levy (Great Australian Bight Trawl Fishery) Regulations. 1987 No. 323 FISHERIES LEVY (GREAT AUSTRALIAN BIGHT TRAWL FISHERY) REGULATIONS

Interpretation
2. In these Regulations, unless the contrary intention appears: "licence" means a licence granted under subsection 9 (2) of the Fisheries Act; "Fisheries Act" means the Fisheries Act 1952; "the Act" means the Fisheries Levy Act 1984. 1987 No. 323 FISHERIES LEVY (GREAT AUSTRALIAN BIGHT TRAWL FISHERY) REGULATIONS

Prescribed classes of endorsements-paragraph 5 (b) of the Act
3. For the purposes of paragraph 5 (b) of the Act, each of the following classes of endorsements is prescribed: (a) endorsements under subsection 9 (4) of the Fisheries Act, being endorsements: (i) made in a licence in which no endorsement that is in force has been made identifying a notice referred to in subparagraph (c) (ii) or (d) (ii); and (ii) that relate to activities by way of fishing that are prohibited by Fisheries Notice No. 187 published in the Gazette on 10 July 1987 and in force under subsection 8 (1) of the Fisheries Act; (b) endorsements under subsection 9 (4) of the Fisheries Act, being endorsements: (i) made in a licence in which an endorsement that is in force has been made identifying a notice referred to in subparagraph (c) (ii) or (d) (ii); and (ii) that relate to activities by way of fishing that are prohibited by Fisheries Notice No. 187 published in the Gazette on 10 July 1987 and in force under subsection 8 (1) of the Fisheries Act; (c) endorsements under subsection 9 (4) of the Fisheries Act, being endorsements: (i) made in a licence in which no endorsement that is in force has been made identifying the notice referred to in subparagraph (d) (ii); and (ii) that relate to activities by way of fishing that are prohibited by Fisheries Notice No. 188 published in the Gazette on 10 July 1987 and in force under subsection 8 (1) of the Fisheries Act; (d) endorsements under subsection 9 (4) of the Fisheries Act, being endorsements: (i) made in a licence in which no endorsement that is in force has been made identifying the notice referred to in subparagraph (c) (ii); and (ii) that relate to activities by way of fishing that are prohibited by Fisheries Notice No. 189 published in the Gazette on 10 July 1987 and in force under subsection 8 (1) of the Fisheries Act. 1987 No. 323 FISHERIES LEVY (GREAT AUSTRALIAN BIGHT TRAWL FISHERY) REGULATIONS

Amounts of levy
4. (1) The amount of the levy imposed by the Act on the endorsement of a licence, being an endorsement included in the class of endorsements referred to in paragraph 3 (a), is $6,000. (2) The amount of the levy imposed by the Act on the endorsement of a licence, being an endorsement included in the class of endorsements referred to in paragraph 3 (b), is $3,000.
(3) The amount of the levy imposed by the Act on the endorsement of a licence, being an endorsement included in the class of endorsements referred to in paragraph 3 (c), is $3,000.
(4) The amount of the levy imposed by the Act on the endorsement of a licence, being an endorsement included in the class of endorsements referred to in paragraph 3 (d), is $3,000.
