Corporations Act 2001 — Paragraphs 601QA(1)(a), 741(1)(a) and 1020F(1)(a) — Variations   Enabling Legislation 1.         The Australian Securities and Investments Commission makes this instrument under paragraphs 601QA(1)(a), 741(1)(a) and 1020F(1)(a) of the Corporations Act 2001.

2.         This instrument is ASIC Class Order [CO 06/226]. Commencement 3.         This instrument commences on the date it is registered under the Legislative Instruments Act 2003. Note:      An instrument is registered when it is recorded on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments (FRLI) in electronic form: see Legislative Instruments Act 2003, s 4 (definition of register).  The FRLI may be accessed at http://www.frli.gov.au/.
Variations
  4.                  ASIC Class Order [CO 98/51] is varied by:   (a)        in paragraph (e) of the Schedule, omitting “until 31 March 2006,”; and (b)        under the heading “Interpretation”: (i)         at the end of subparagraph (1)(b), adding "and"; and (ii)        omitting paragraph (2); and (iii)       at the end of paragraph (3) omitting "; and" and substituting a full stop; and (iv)       omitting paragraphs (4) to (6).   5.         ASIC Class Order [CO 04/194] is varied by in subparagraph 1.23(b)(v) and paragraph 2.10(e), omitting “until 31 March 2006,”.     Dated this 29th day of March 2006       Signed by Brendan Byrne
