I, PHILIP MAXWELL RUDDOCK, Attorney‑General, make this Instrument under subsection 6 (2D) of the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979.

1              Name of Instrument
                This Instrument is the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) (Emergency Service Facilities — Australian Capital Territory) Instrument  2007.
2              Commencement
                This Instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
3              Revocation
                The Telecommunications (Interception) (Emergency Service Facility — Australian Capital Territory) Instrument 2005 is revoked.
4              Definitions
                In this Instrument:
Act means the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) Act 1979.
ACT ESF Declaration means the Telecommunications (Interception and Access) (Emergency Service Facilities — Australian Capital Territory) Declaration 2007 as existing on the commencement of this Instrument.
5              Emergency service facilities
         (1)   For subsection 6 (2D) of the Act and in relation to Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the ACT ESF Declaration, the Australian Federal Police — ACT Policing operates the premises located in the geographical regions of Belconnen and Greenway.
         (2)   For subsection 6 (2D) of the Act and in relation to Part 2 of Schedule 1 to the ACT ESF Declaration, the ACT Emergency Services Agency operates the premises located in the geographical region of Curtin.
