Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry (Standards) Amendment Order 2008 (No. 1)1
I, NARELLE ANNE CLEGG, delegate of the Secretary of the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry, make this Order under section 17 of the Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry Act 1997.

1              Name of Order
                This Order is the Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry (Standards) Amendment Order 2008 (No. 1).
2              Commencement
                This Order commences on 1 February 2009.
3              Amendment of Australian Meat and-Live stock Industry (Standards) Order 2005
                Schedule 1 amends the Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry (Standards) Order 2005.

3              Export of live‑stock in accordance with standards
                The holder of a live‑stock export licence must not export live‑stock except in accordance with the Australian Standards for the Export of Livestock (Version 2.2, November 2008).
Note   At the commencement of the Australian Meat and Live-stock Industry (Standards) Amendment Order 2008 (No. 1), the Australian Standards for the Export of Livestock (Version 2.2, November 2008) was available on the Internet at
