I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor‑General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the Australian Federal Police Act 1979.

1              Name of Regulations
                These Regulations are the Australian Federal Police Amendment Regulations 2008 (No. 1).
2              Commencement
                These Regulations commence on 1 October 2008.
3              Amendment of Australian Federal Police Regulations 1979
                Schedule 1 amends the Australian Federal Police Regulations 1979.

         (2)   For items 1, 2 and 4 of Schedule 2, the fee is the sum of:
                (a)    the amount mentioned in the item; and
               (b)    any amount payable by the AFP in the course of providing the service, rounded up to the nearest dollar.
