1          LEGISLATIVE PROVISIONS
 
1.1       NAME OF LEGISLATIVE INSTRUMENT
 
1.1.1        This instrument is the Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 81/02 – Fuel Consumption Labelling for Light Vehicles) 2008 Amendment 2.
1.1.2        This instrument may also be cited as ADR 81/02 Amendment 2.
 
1.2       COMMENCEMENT
 
1.2.1        This instrument commences the day after it is registered.
 
2          AMENDMENT OF VEHICLE STANDARD
 
2.1.1        The changes specified in Schedule 1 amend Vehicle Standard (Australian Design Rule 81/02 – Fuel Consumption Labelling for Light Vehicles) 2008.
 
SCHEDULE 1
 
[1]               Insert new clause 1.15 which reads:
“1.15    The dimensions of the red and green areas featuring the three fuel consumption values and the CO2 emissions value may be increased by up to 1mm to allow for printing tolerances.”
 
[2]               Renumber existing 1.15 as clause 1.16.
