I, QUENTIN BRYCE, Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Federal Executive Council, make the following Regulations under the National Residue Survey (Customs) Levy Act 1998 and the National Residue Survey (Excise) Levy Act 1998.

1              Name of Regulations
                These Regulations are the Primary Industries Levies and Charges (National Residue Survey Levies) Amendment Regulations 2009 (No. 2).
2              Commencement
                These Regulations commence on the day after they are registered.
3              Amendment of Primary Industries Levies and Charges (National Residue Survey Levies) Regulations 1998
                Schedule 1 amends the Primary Industries Levies and Charges (National Residue Survey Levies) Regulations 1998.
4              Transitional
                The amendments made by Schedule 1 apply on and from the first day of the first month after these Regulations are registered.

         (1)   For subclause 4 (1) of Schedule 7 to the NRS Excise Levy Act, the rate of NRS excise levy on honey for sale is 0.1 cents per kilogram.
         (2)   For subclause 4 (2) of Schedule 7 to the NRS Excise Levy Act, the rate of NRS excise levy on the use of honey in the production of other goods is 0.1 cents per kilogram.
