I, NICOLA ROXON, Minister for Health and Ageing, make these Rules under section 9A of the Private Health Insurance (Council Administration Levy) Act 2003.

1              Name of Rules
                These Rules are the Private Health Insurance (Council Administration Levy) Amendment Rules 2009 (No. 1).
2              Commencement
                These Rules commence as follows:
                 (a)     on 1 July 2009 — rules 1 to 3 and Schedule 1;
                (b)     on 1 July 2010 — Schedule 2.
3              Amendment of Private Health Insurance (Council Administration Levy) Rules 2007
                Schedules 1 and 2 amend the Private Health Insurance (Council Administration Levy) Rules 2007.
