Determination 2010/02:
Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Public Office
 
(i)        Pursuant to subsections 7(3) and 7(4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973, the Remuneration Tribunal has inquired into the remuneration and allowances to be paid to holders of public office, and other matters significantly related thereto, and determines as set out below.
 
(ii)        This Determination takes effect on and from the day following the day it is registered in the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments unless otherwise specified.
 
PART 1 – PART-TIME OFFICES
 
1.1       In this part, Determination Number 14 of 2009 (as amended) is referred to as the Principal Determination.
 
1.2         Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing “-” with “$185,350 - a” in Column 2 of the entry for “NBN Co Limited”.
 
1.3         Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting the following entry after the entry for “CSIRO – Advisory Committees”:

1.4       Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by inserting        the following entry after the entry for “Tourism Australia”:

1.5       The Principal Determination is amended by inserting Clause A44 after Clause A43      of the Additional Clauses to Table AIA: “A44.  Australian Institute for Teaching             and School Leadership Ltd (AITSL): From 1 January 2010 to 31 December        2010, the Chair will receive the Chair’s fee plus an additional loading of 50 per       cent. From 1 January 2010 to 31 December 2010 the Deputy Chair will receive $60,000 per annum, plus an additional loading of 50 per cent. The Deputy Chair is    entitled to Tier 1 Travel arrangements”.
 
1.6         Clauses 1.4 and 1.5 have effect on and from 1 January 2010.
 
1.7       Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the   entry for the following body: “Teaching Australia – Australian Institute for Teaching   and School Leadership”.
 
1.8         The Principal Determination is amended by deleting clause “A14” of the Additional     Clauses to Table A1A.
 
1.9         Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing       the current wording in Column 1 of the entry for “Anti-Doping Rule Violation Panel    - Advisory Group” with  “ASADA – Advisory Group”.
