NOTICE OF REVOCATION OF APPROVAL AS A HIGHER EDUCATION PROVIDER ON APPLICATION

Revocation of approval as a higher education provider on request by the body under subsection
22-40(1) of the Higher Education Support Act 2003 (the Act)
 
 
 
In accordance with subsection 22-40(1) of the Act, on 17 October 2011, the Institute of Counselling Incorporated requested in writing that the Minister revoke its approval as a higher education provider.
 
Notice of revocation of approval under subsection 22-40(3) of the Act
 
I, Neil McAuslan, a delegate of the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills,  Jobs and Workplace Relations  for the purposes of section 22-40 of the Act:
 
(a)           hereby revoke the approval of the Institute of Counselling Incorporated as a higher education provider, Instrument of Approval No 3 of 2007 dated 6 March 2007, and as registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments on 14 March  2007, pursuant to subsection 22-40(1) of the Act; and
 
(b)         shall cause a copy of this notice to be given to  the Institute of Counselling Incorporated  as required by subsection 22-40(3)(b) of the Act.
 
 
 
In accordance with subsection 22-40(4) of the Act, the revocation shall take effect on
22 March 2012.
