DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO PRESCRIBED BODIES
(REGULATION 5.34D)
I, CHRIS BOWEN, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under regulation 5.34D of the Migration Regulations 1994 (‘the Regulations’):
1. REVOKE Instrument IMMI 05/090 signed on 19 January 2006 specifying prescribed bodies for the purposes of regulation 5.34D of the Regulations; AND
2. SPECIFY each body listed in the attached schedule as a prescribed body for the purposes of regulation 5.34D of the Regulations.
This Instrument, IMMI 12/013, commences on 24 March 2012.

[NOTE 1: Regulation 5.34D states that for paragraph 336F(1)(d) of the Migration Act 1958 (‘the Act’) a body of a foreign country, the Commonwealth, a State or a Territory that is specified by the Minister by Gazette Notice is a prescribed body.
NOTE 2: Paragraph 336F(1)(d) of the Act states that the Secretary may, in writing, authorise a specified officer, or any officer included in a specified class of officers, to disclose identifying information of the kind specified in the authorisation to one or more prescribed bodies of a foreign country, of the Commonwealth or of a State or Territory.]
