1              Name of regulation
                This regulation is the Customs (Australia–US Free Trade Agreement) Amendment Regulation 2012 (No. 1).
2              Commencement
                This regulation commences on the day the amendments to Annex 4‑A to the Australia–US Free Trade Agreement agreed to by Australia and the United States in 2011 enter into force.
3              Requirement for Gazette notice
                The Minister must announce by notice in the Gazette the day the amendments mentioned in section 2 enter into force.
4              Amendment of Customs (Australia–US Free Trade Agreement) Regulations 2004
                Schedule 1 amends the Customs (Australia–US Free Trade Agreement) Regulations 2004.
