Part 1  Preliminary
1                    Name
This instrument is the Higher Education (Maximum Amounts for Commonwealth Scholarships) Determination 2013.
2                    Authority
This instrument is made under subsections 46-40(2) and (3) of the Higher Education Support Act 2003.
3                    Commencement
This instrument commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.
 
Part 2  Maximum amounts for Commonwealth
Scholarships
4                    Determination of the maximum amounts
 
(i)                 For the purpose of item 11 of the table under subsection 46-40(1) of the Act, the maximum amount in respect of the year 2014 is $314,637,000.
(ii)               For the purpose of item 12 of the table under subsection 46-40(1) of the Act, the maximum amount in respect of the year 2015 is $313,856,000.
(iii)             For the purpose of item 13 of the table under subsection 46-40(1) of the Act, the maximum amount in respect of the year 2016 is $313,858,000.
(iv)             For the purpose of item 14 of the table under subsection 46-40(1) of the Act, the maximum amount in respect of the year 2017 is $313,858,000.
