Determination 2013/20:
Remuneration and Allowances for Holders of Public Office
(i)              Pursuant to subsections 5(2A), 7(3) and 7(4) of the Remuneration Tribunal Act 1973, the Remuneration Tribunal has inquired into the remuneration and allowances to be paid to certain holders of public office, and other matters significantly related thereto, and determines as set out below.
(ii)        This Determination takes effect on and from the day following the day it is registered in the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments unless otherwise specified.

PART 1 – FULL-TIME OFFICES
1.1         In this part, Determination Number 10 of 2013 (as amended) is referred to as the Principal Determination.
1.2       Tables 2A and 2B of Part 2 of the Principal Determination are amended by changing any references to “Insolvency and Trustee Service Australia” to “Australian Financial Security Authority”.
PART 2 – PART-TIME OFFICES
2.1         In this part, Determination Number 11 of 2013 (as amended) is referred to as the Principal Determination.
2.2       Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing the current entry for “Australian Maritime Safety Authority” with the following entry and placing it after the entry for “Civil Aviation Safety Authority Board (CASA)”:

2.3         The Principal Determination is amended by inserting Clause A48 after Clause A47 of the Additional Clauses to Table A1A of Schedule A as follows: “A48. Australian Maritime Safety Authority: A member who is appointed as a Deputy Chair will receive $61,700 per annum.”
2.4         Clauses 2.2 and 2.3 take effect on and from 1 July 2013.
2.5         Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by changing the reference to “Asbestos Safety and Eradication Agency” to “Asbestos Safety and Eradication Council”.
2.6         Clause 2.5 takes effect on and from 1 July 2013.
2.7       Table A1A of Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by replacing the current entry for the “National Gallery of Australia Council” with the following entry and placing it under the entry for the “Sydney Harbour Federation Trust”:

2.8         The Principal Determination is amended by inserting Clause A49 after Clause A48 of the Additional Clauses to Table A1A of Schedule A as follows: “A49. National Gallery of Australia Council: A member who is appointed as a Deputy Chair will receive $29,050 per annum.”
2.9         Clauses 2.7 and 2.8 take effect on and from 1 July 2013.
PART 3 – OFFICIAL TRAVEL BY OFFICE HOLDERS
3.1         In this part, Determination Number 16 of 2013 is referred to as the Principal Determination.
3.2         Schedule A of the Principal Determination is amended by deleting the current heading “Table A1.A – Rates of Travelling Allowance per overnight absence” and replacing it with “Table A1.A – Rates of Travelling Allowance (accommodation, meals and incidentals) per overnight absence.”
