I, JENNY MACKLIN, Minister for Families, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs and Minister for Disability Reform, acting under paragraph 123TGA(c) and subsection 123UCA(3) of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999 and on behalf of the Minister for Employment and Workplace Relations and the Minister for Tertiary Education, Skills, Science and Research, make this Determination.

1              Name of Determination
                This Determination is the Social Security (Administration) (Declared income management areas — Ngaanyatjarra Lands and Laverton) Determination 2013.
2              Commencement
                This Determination commences on 15 April 2013.
3              Definitions
                In this Determination:
                Act means the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.
                Laverton shire means the shire of Laverton in Western Australia as designated in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995 (WA).
                Ngaanyatjarra Lands means the shire of Ngaanyatjarraku in Western Australia and the remote community known as Kiwirrkurra Community located within the shire of East Pilbara in Western Australia, as designated in accordance with the Local Government Act 1995 (WA).
4              Declared voluntary income management area
Ngaanyatjarra Lands and Laverton shire are each a declared voluntary income management area for the purposes of Part 3B of the Act.
5              Specified vulnerable income management area
Ngaanyatjarra Lands and Laverton shire are each specified for the purposes of paragraph 123UCA(1)(b) of the Act.
