SOUTHERN AND EASTERN SCALEFISH AND SHARK FISHERY TOTAL ALLOWABLE CATCH (QUOTA SPECIES) DETERMINATION 2013
The AUSTRALIAN FISHERIES MANAGEMENT AUTHORITY makes the following Determination pursuant to subsection 17(6)(aa) of the Fisheries Management Act 1991 under section 11 of the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery Management Plan 2003.

Citation
1. This Determination may be cited as the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery Total Allowable Catch (Quota Species) Determination 2013.
Commencement
2. This Determination commences on the day after it is registered on the Federal Register of Legislative Instruments.
Cessation
3. This Determination ceases as if it was revoked on 1 May 2014 unless earlier revoked.
Interpretation
4. (a) In this Determination, the terms ‘East’ and ‘West’ in the table in clause 5, in relation to the species ‘Deepwater shark’ mean:
(i) East – the Gemfish eastern zone, as defined in Schedule 1, Part 3 section 1 of the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery Management Plan 2003.
(ii) West – the Gemfish western zone, as defined in Schedule 1, Part 3 section 2 of the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery Management Plan 2003.
(b) A term used in this Determination that is defined for the purposes of the Southern and Eastern Scalefish and Shark Fishery Management Plan 2003 has the same meaning in this Determination as it has in that Plan.
Note: 1. Terms defined in the Fisheries Management Act 1991 have the same meanings in this Determination.

5. The total allowable catch for each quota species in the fishery for the 2013 fishing year commencing on 1 May 2013 and ending on 30 April 2014 is:
