CLASS OF PERSONS
 
(Item 4 of the table in paragraph 1236(2)(a))
 
 
I, BRENDAN O’CONNOR, Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, acting under item 4 of the table in paragraph 1236(2)(a) to the Migration Regulations 1994  (‘the Regulations’) hereby specify the following class of persons for the purpose of item 4 in the table in paragraph 1236(2)(a):
 
(a)        delegates entering Australia on the Subclass 600 (Visitor) visa who are attending and participating in the International Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities Land and Sea Managers Network inaugural conference.
 
For the purpose of this Instrument:
 
The “International Indigenous Peoples and Local Communities Land and Sea Managers Network inaugural conference” is an event held in Darwin from 26 May 2013 to 31 May 2013.
 
“Delegate” means a person who will be entering Australia for the purposes of attending and participating in the conference.
 
This Instrument, IMMI 13/004 commences on 23 March 2013 immediately after the commencement of Migration Amendment Regulation 2013 (No. 1) and ceases on 30 June 2013.
