AMENDMENT OF approved statement INSTRUMENT NO. 2 OF 2013
AMENDMENT OF “SELF-ASSESSED CLEARANCE DECLARATION (AIR) (TO BE COMMUNICATED WITH A CARGO REPORT)”
CUSTOMS ACT 1901
I, MICHAEL PEZZULLO, Acting Chief Executive Officer of Customs, section 4A and subsection 71AAAF(1) of the Customs Act 1901 (the Act),and subsection 33(3) of the Acts Interpretation Act 1901 approve the amendments to the “SELF-ASSESSED CLEARANCE DECLARATION (AIR) (TO BE COMMUNICATED WITH A CARGO REPORT)”, which was approved by CEO Instrument of Approval No. 5 of 2006, set out below.
This instrument commences on 3 February 2013.
Amendments
 [1] Item 28
Omit “$250” and substitute “$1,000”.
[2] Item 28
Omit both references to “AQIS” and substitute “DAFF Biosecurity”.
[3] After item 28, insert:

Consignment Reference
The reference assigned by a cargo reporter that, in combination with the House Air Way Bill (HAWB) number, identifies cargo of a particular consignment.
