1                     Name of rule
The name of this rule is the Parking Permit Rule 2014.
2                     Commencement
This rule commences on the day after registration.
3                     Modified application of section 100(1) of the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Regulation 2000 (ACT) to National Land
Section 100(1) of the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Regulation 2000 (ACT) as applicable to National Land is further amended as follows:
(1)   The road transport authority may issue a permit (a parking permit) of a kind mentioned in subsection (2) authorising the parking of a vehicle, with or without charge:

a.       on a length of road or in an area designated by a permit zone sign for use by holders of that kind of parking permit; or

b.      on a length of road or in a pay parking area as determined by the road transport authority.
4                     Parking Permits
The items listed in Schedule 1 to this instrument are prescribed as a kind of parking permit that the NCA chief executive may issue under section 100 of the Road Transport (Safety and Traffic Management) Regulation 2000 (ACT) as applicable to National Land for use by holders of that kind of parking permit.
