Exemption — from appointment of full-time Managers Cabin Crew Training for VAA and VAIA
1          Duration
                 This instrument:
(a)   commences on the day of registration; and
(b)   expires at the end of June 2017, as if it had been repealed by another instrument.
2          Application
                 This instrument applies to Virgin Australia Airlines Pty Ltd (VAA), Aviation Reference Number (ARN) 567591, and Virgin Australia International Airlines Pty Ltd (VAIA), ARN 768593.
3          Exemption
                 VAA and VAIA are exempt from compliance with paragraph 2.2 of Civil Aviation Order (CAO) 82.5 and paragraph 2.4 of Appendix 2 to CAO 82.5, to the extent set out in Schedule 1.
4          Conditions
                 The exemption is subject to the conditions set out in Schedule 2.
Schedule 1          Extent of exemption
              VAA and VAIA are exempt from compliance with paragraph 2.2 of CAO 82.5 and paragraph 2.4 of Appendix 2 to CAO 82.5 in relation to the appointment of a separate full-time Manager Cabin Crew Training, for each airline.
Schedule 2          Condition
              A single Manager Cabin Crew Training must be appointed with responsibility for cabin crew training for both VAA and VAIA.
