I, RENÉE LEON, Secretary of the Department of Employment, make this specification under paragraph 42S (3B) (b) of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999.

1              Name of Specification
                     This specification is the Social Security (Administration) (Relocation Assistance) Specification 2014.
2              Commencement
                      This specification commences on 1 July 2014.
3              Revocation
                     The Social Security (Administration) (Relocation Assistance) (DEEWR) Specification 2013 (No. 1) is revoked.
4              Relocation assistance
                (1)          For paragraph 42S(3B)(b) of the Social Security (Administration) Act 1999, a payment made to a person under the following programmes:
                               
                                (a) Move 2 Work; or
                     (b)     Relocation Assistance to Take Up a Job;
                      both administered by the Department of Employment, are specified.
            (2)    However, if a person is paid two or more payments under either of the programmes listed in subsection (1) in relation to particular employment, only the first such payment is specified.
