Exemption — Jetstar Boeing 787-8 and A321 aircraft participation in land and hold short operations
1          Duration
                 This instrument:
(a)   commences on the day of registration; and
(b)   expires at the end of September 2015, as if it had been repealed by another instrument.
2          Repeals
                 Instruments CASA EX104/11 and CASA EX131/13 are repealed.
3          Application
                 This instrument applies:
(a)   to an air traffic services (ATS) provider, within the meaning of regulation 172.015 of CASR 1998; and
(b)   for land and hold short operations, at pilot discretion, using Boeing 787-8 series aircraft and Airbus 321 aircraft operated by Jetstar Airways Pty Limited, Aviation Reference Number 510654.
4          Exemption
        (1)     An ATS provider is exempt from compliance with paragraph 172.065 (1) (a) of CASR 1998 to the extent mentioned in subsection (2).
        (2)     The exemption applies only to the standards set out in subsections 10.13.5.3, 10.13.5.4 and 10.13.5.7 of the Manual of Standards (MOS) – Part 172.
