ARRANGEMENTS FOR PROTECTION, HUMANITARIAN AND REFUGEE VISAS 2015
(Items 1401, 1402, 1403 and 1404)
I, michaelia cash, Assistant Minister for Immigration and Border Protection, acting under subregulation 2.07(5) of the Migration Regulations 1994 (the Regulations) for items 1401, 1402, 1403 and 1404 of Schedule 1 to the Regulations:
 
1.                  REVOKE instrument IMMI 13/026 (F2013L00851) specifying classes of persons and addresses for item 1402(3)(a) signed on 16 May 2013; AND
 
2.                  SPECIFY for subitems 1401(1), 1402(1), 1403(1) and 1404(1) of Schedule 1 to the Regulations the following approved forms and for paragraphs 1401(3)(a), 1402(3)(a), 1403(3)(a) and 1404(3)(a) the following place and manner for making an application:

1.                  Application by a person:
(a)                whose entry to Australia has been proposed in accordance with approved form 681 and who are present in one of the countries listed in Schedule A to this instrument; or
(b)               whose entry to Australia has been proposed in accordance with approved form 1417 and who are outside Australia must be made by
(i) posting the application with correct prepaid postage to:

(ii) by having the application delivered by courier service to:

2.                  Application by a person whose entry to Australia has been proposed in accordance with approved form 681 and who are present in one of the countries referred to in Schedule B to this instrument must be made by:
 
(i)            Posting the application with correct prepaid postage to:

(ii)          having the application delivered by courier service to:

3. Application by any other person must be made at a diplomatic, consular or migration office maintained by or on behalf of the Commonwealth outside Australia.
 
Note: An application made under paragraph 1402(3)(a) is taken to have been made outside Australia - see regulation 2.07AM.
