1 Name
This is the Veterans’ Entitlements (Non-warlike Service—Operation Augury) Determination 2015.
2 Commencement
This instrument commences on the day after it is registered.
3 Authority
This instrument is made under the definition of non‑warlike service in subsection 5C(1) of the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986.
4 Definitions
In this instrument:
Act means the Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986.
ADF means the Australian Defence Force.
5 Non‑warlike service
For the definition of non‑warlike service in subsection 5C(1) of the Act, service in an operation mentioned in an item of the following table is non‑warlike service for the purposes of the Act if the service:
(a) is in an area of operation mentioned in the item; and
(b) occurs during a period mentioned in the item.
