1  Name
                   This is the Criminal Code (Terrorist Organisation—Kurdistan Workers’ Party) Regulation 2015.
2  Commencement
             (1)  Each provision of this instrument specified in column 1 of the table commences, or is taken to have commenced, in accordance with column 2 of the table. Any other statement in column 2 has effect according to its terms.

3  Authority
                   This instrument is made under the Criminal Code Act 1995.

                   Each instrument that is specified in a Schedule to this instrument is amended or repealed as set out in the applicable items in the Schedule concerned, and any other item in a Schedule to this instrument has effect according to its terms.
5  Terrorist organisation—Kurdistan Workers’ Party
             (1)  For paragraph (b) of the definition of terrorist organisation in subsection 102.1(1) of the Criminal Code, the organisation known as Kurdistan Workers’ Party is specified.
             (2)  Kurdistan Workers’ Party is also known by the following names:
                     (a)  Freedom and Democratic Congress of Kurdistan;
                     (b)  Hezan Parastina Gel;
                     (c)  Kongra Gel;
                     (d)  Kongra Gele Kurdistan;
                     (e)  Kurdish Freedom Falcons;
                      (f)  Kurdish Liberation Hawks;
                     (g)  Kurdistan Freedom and Democracy Congress;
                     (h)  Kurdistan Freedom Brigade;
                      (i)  Kurdistan Freedom Hawks;
                      (j)  Kurdistan Halk Kongresi;
                     (k)  Kurdistan Labor Party;
                      (l)  Kurdistan Ozgurluk Sahinleri;
                    (m)  Kurdistan People’s Congress;
                     (n)  New PKK;
                     (o)  Partiya Karkeren Kurdistan;
                     (p)  People’s Congress of Kurdistan;
                     (q)  People’s Defence Force;
                      (r)  PKK;
                      (s)  Teyrbazên Azadiya Kurdistan.
