An Act to extinguish public rights of way over certain land at East Devonport
[Royal Assent 17 December 2001]Be it enacted by His Excellency the Governor of Tasmania, by and with the advice and consent of the Legislative Council and House of Assembly, in Parliament assembled, as follows:
This Act may be cited as the Crown Lands (Extinguishment of Public Rights) Act 2001 .
This Act commences on a day to be proclaimed.
3. Extinguishment of public rights
All public rights of way over the land at East Devonport, as described in folio of the Register Volume 136393, folio 1 kept by the Recorder of Titles under the Land Titles Act 1980 , comprising part of Douglas Street, Stephen Street and the Esplanade, are extinguished.
Until provision is made in relation to this Act by order under section 4 of the Administrative Arrangements Act 1990 (a) the administration of this Act is assigned to the Minister for Primary Industries, Water and Environment; and(b) the department responsible to the Minister for Primary Industries, Water and Environment in relation to the administration of this Act is the Department of Primary Industries, Water and Environment.
