ENACTED by the Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda as
follows -

1. This Act may be citedas the Summary Jurisdiction (Repeal) short title.
Act, 1994.

2. In this Act, Interpretation.

'"e Act" mean ehe Summ;uy Jurisdiction Act (Cap. 80);

"Court" means the Confa of Summary Jurisdiction estab-
lished under sectioti 3 of the Act.

3. The Summary Jurisdiction Act (Cap. 80) is repealed and the Repeal of Cap. 80.
Court established under section 3 of the Act is abolished.

4. Notwithstanding the repeal of the Act - Transitional
provision.

(a) any matter pending before the Court at the date of the
coming into force of this Act shall continue to be
dealt with in accordance with the provisions of the
Act; and

BARBUDA

(b) the Judges, for the time being of the Supreme Court
shall continue to be judges of the Court and shall
exercise all the jurisdiction and powers of the Court,

as if the Act has not been repealed.

Commencement. 5. This Act comes into force on a day appointed by the
Attorney General by an Order published in the Gazette.
