ENACTED by the Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda as

I. This Actmay becitedas theMedica1 Benefits (Amendment) short title.

2- T b Medid Benefits Act, 1978 (NO. 9 of 1978) is amended Amendment of

(a) by deleting tlre words "two a ~ d one half percent"
wherever these occur and substituhg the wmds
"three and one half percent";

(b) by r e m n g the proviso and substituting the follow-
ing -

"Provided that -

BARBUDA

No contribution shall be payable either by the insured
person or his employer in respect of so much of the
wages payable to the insured person as exceed the
maximum wages upon which contributions are pay-
able under the provisions of the Social Security Act,
1972."
