THE MARRIAGES (VALIDATING) AMBROSE JOHN
WILLIAMS ACT

MARRIAGES (VALIDATING) AMBROSE JOHN
WILLIAMS

(21st October, 1929.) 1511929.

1. This Act may be cited as the Marriages (Validating) short title.
Ambrose John Williams Act.

2. All marriages solemnized in Antigua and Barbuda Certain
marriages to be by the Reverend Ambrose John Williams between the twenty- validated.

third day of March, 1929, and the thirteenth day of
September, 1929 (inclusive), are hereby declared to be valid
for all intents and purposes:

Provided that nothing in this Act shall be deemed to
validate any marriage which is invalid for any reason, save
that the said Reverend Ambrose John Williams was not duly
appointed a marriage officer at the time that he solemnized
such marriage.
