An ACT to amend the Engineers (Registration) Act 1986
(No. 37 of 1986).

[loth June, 1993 1

ENACTED by the Parliament of Antigua and Barbuda as
follows-

1. This Act may be cited as the Engineers (Registration) title.
(Amendment) Act, 1993.

2. Section 9 of the Engineers (Registration) Act, 1986 is Amendment of
amended as follows- section 9 (NO. 37

of 1986)
(a) by the deletion of "(1)" immediately after section

9;

(b) by the insertion after paragraph ( e ) a semi-colon
and the wordUand"; and

(c) by the insertion after paragraph (e) of the following
new paragraph-

''@ at least one of the four years of experience-

(i) in the case of persons who otherwise
qualified for registration before the
first of February 1987 was acquired in
Antigua and Barbuda;

Passed the House of Representatives
this 26th day of April, 1993.

(ii) in the case of persons who otherwise
qualified for registration after the first
of February 1987 was acquired in
Antigua and Barbuda under the direct
supervision of an engineer duly regis-
tered in Antigua and Barbuda."
