The Ministry of finance guidelines, submission management and using the fees applied in diplomatic missions, consular agencies overseas Vietnam (consular fees) as follows: I-SCOPE and FEE PAYERS 1. Scope: this circular is only done from the effective date to the end of December 31, 2005. From 1/1/2006 will have a private guide.
2. Organization: the payers, individuals and organizations, Vietnam, foreign individuals are diplomatic representations, consular authorities of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in the foreign service of State management work as required or prescribed by the law, they must pay as defined in this circular.
3. Does consular fee revenue for the following cases: a) the alien is invited guests (including spouse and children follow along as guests) of the party, Congress, State Government, or of the party leadership, Congress, the State, the Government of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam invited as individuals.
b) officers, technical administration staff (including spouse and children) of diplomatic missions, consular authorities abroad, international organizations are entitled to privileges, immunities.
c) foreigners carrying diplomatic passports or passport issued by Foreign Affairs, under the principle of reciprocity.
d) foreigners in an exemption of fees under the agreement or the agreement between the Government of Vietnam with the Government or foreign organizations.
e) the alien is a citizen of the country has not signed the agreement or agreement with Vietnam but was unilaterally waived visa fees for Vietnam citizens carrying diplomatic passports, the Passport service or common passport shall also be exempt from visa fees according to the principle of reciprocity, there again.
