Decision on the establishment of high-tech zones directly from Ho Chi Minh City people's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ the PRIME MINISTER pursuant to the law the Government Organization on December 15, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 36/CP dated 24 April 1997 the Government issued regulation of industrial zones, export processing zones, high-tech zones;
Pursuant to Decree No. 52/CP dated 8 July 1999 the Government issued the Charter investment management and construction;
According to the proposal of the President of the people's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City in the Sheet number 2846/UB-VX on August 19, 2002, the opinion of the Minister of planning and investment, the Minister of Interior and Minister of science and technology, the DECISION: article 1. Establishment of high-tech zone in Ho Chi Minh City directly under the people's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City, with 804 hectares in District 9, Ho Chi Minh City.
Article 2. High-tech zone in Ho Chi Minh City is a technical-economic zone is built and developed on the basis of high technology, have special properties to focus foreign investment attraction, and to mobilize domestic resources for science and high technology, forming a modern productive forces combining effectively between production and business with research, acquire, transfer, development of high technology and training of human resources serves the high-tech industry, improve business efficiency, create motivation to promote the industrialization and modernization of the country.
Article 3. Delivery of the city people's Committee of Ho Chi Minh: a) directing the deployment steps to build high-tech Zone in Ho Chi Minh City, according to the current regulations; the Prime Minister approved the overall planning, detailed planning and feasibility study reports according to the regulations.
b) implement state management functionality for high-tech Zone in Ho Chi Minh City under the current rules.
Article 4. This decision has the effect after 15 days from the date of signing.
Ministers: Ministry of science and technology, the Ministry of planning and investment, Ministry of finance, Ministry of construction, Ministry of agriculture and rural development, Ministry of natural resources and environment, Ministry of industry, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Interior; The Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam, the President of the people's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City and the heads of the relevant agencies responsible for the implementation of this decision.
