Considering the recommendation of the Minister of education and training, the DECISION: article 1. The development of education, vocational training and the Mekong Delta region to 2010:1. Enhance recreation and quality of human resources in the Mekong River Delta to promote the power of the region, created the breakthrough in the process of socio-economic development and promote the industrialization and modernization; construction of the Mekong River Delta in the comprehensive, sustainable development, becoming a key economic region of the country with high economic growth.
2. Striving to 2010 education development index, and vocational training of the Cuu Long River Delta equal the average index of the country.
Article 2. The specific targets on development education, vocational training and the Mekong Delta region to 2010:1. Preschool education: a response from the 15-17% of children under 3 years of age send daycare; 65-67% from the attraction of children 3-5 years of kindergarten, mobilized 90-95% of children 5 years old to kindergarten to prepare for elementary school. Article 5. Implementation 1. 2. 3.
