The LAW on the National Assembly's monitoring activities--------------to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of monitoring activities, contributing to the Constitution, laws, resolutions of the National Assembly, ordinances, and resolutions of the Committee of the National Assembly are strictly and consistently enforced;

Pursuant to the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in 1992 was amended and supplemented by resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 on 25 December 2001 of the Xth Congress, session 10;

This law regulates the monitoring activity of the Parliament, the Committee of the National Assembly, the Council of the nation, Congressional committees, the Congressional delegation and deputies.

Chapter 1: GENERAL PROVISIONS article 1. The monitoring function of the National Assembly National Assembly made the Supreme supervisory authority for the entire operation of the State.

Article 2. Article 4. The responsibility of the National Assembly, the body of the Congress, the Congressional delegation and deputies in the realization of the right to monitor the implementation of the monitoring authority of the Assembly, the Committee of the National Assembly, the Council of the nation, Congressional committees, the Congressional delegation and deputies must ensure public objective, timely, authoritative, sequence, the procedure prescribed by the law and do not impede the normal operation of the agencies, organizations, individuals subject to supervision. Article 8. Article 14. Chapter 3: MONITORING ACTIVITIES of the COMMITTEE of the NATIONAL ASSEMBLY article 15. Article 16. Article 23. The Monitoring Group of the Organization of the National Assembly Committee 1. Article 25. The Commission's monitoring of the National Assembly for the resolution of complaints, the accusations Committee of the National Assembly to supervise the enforcement of the law on complaints and denunciations; consideration of the report of the Government, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuratorate about resolving complaints, accusations; the Monitoring Group or organization Council of ethnic Affairs Committee of the Parliament, monitoring the complaints, accusations.

When there are violations of the law, causing damage to the interests of the State, the legitimate rights and interests of organizations and individuals, the National Committee requires the Agency, organization or individual has the authority to apply measures to promptly terminate violations of law , consider responsible for handling violators, restore the State's interests, rights and legal interests of the Organization, the individual violated, and asked who had the authority to consider, resolve; If does not agree with the settlement of that person then asks the head of the Agency, the superior organization directly consider, resolve. Article 26. 2. The decision to cancel in part or the whole of the legal text of the Government, the Prime Minister, the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy contrary to Ordinances, resolutions of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

3. Recommendations to Congress or agency requirements, the authorized individual recall or resignation from Office, dealt with those violations of the law;

4. Suggest Congress vote of confidence for people held by the National Assembly elected or approved;

5. Decides to abolish a part or the whole of the wrong resolutions of the Councils, the central cities; the dissolution of the people's Council, the central cities in the case of the people's Council which do serious damage to the interests of the people;

6. Out of the resolution about the answer to questions and the responsibility of the person to be questioned when it deems necessary;

7. Requests the Agency, organization or individual has the authority to apply measures to promptly terminate violations of the law, considered responsible for handling violators, promptly restored the State's interests, rights and legal interests of the Organization, individuals are violated;


8. Cancellation of the elections of deputies to the people's Council in the electoral law violations are serious and decide the election in that electoral district.

Chapter 4: MONITORING ACTIVITIES of the COUNCIL of the NATION, CONGRESSIONAL COMMITTEES article 27. The monitoring activities of the ethnic Council, the Committee of the Congress of the Council of the nation, Congress's Oversight Committee through the following activities: 1.
