The PRIME MINISTER'S DECISION to approve measuring sector development strategy and the map Vietnam the PRIME 2020 pursuant to the law on organization of the Government of 25 December 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 11/2002/ND-CP dated 22 January 2002 by the Government on surveying and mapping activities;
Considering the recommendation of the Minister of natural resources and the environment, decision: article 1. Approved measuring industry development strategy and the map Vietnam by 2020 with the following principal contents: i. POINT 1. Surveying and map is the basic investigation activity must be one step ahead in order to ensure geographic information infrastructure for the needs of socio-economic development, natural resource management and the environment in the country, meet the needs of collaboration to solve global and regional problems of the Earth science research , on the monitoring of natural resources and the environment in the process of international economic integration of Vietnam.
2. Take the investment for science and technology in the field of surveying and map making solutions to development. The development of science and technology of surveying and mapping in our country are consistent with conditions in the country at the same time to reach the world's advanced level; actively meet the needs of development and the application of technology acquisition, information processing, database construction of geography and geographic information systems, storage and provision of information, guarantee the adequacy, accuracy, timeliness and cost down.

4. 5. Gradually socialized services surveying and map, commercialization, investment and information measurements and map.

Article 2. Implementation 1.
