Pursuant to Decree No. 188/2007/ND-CP on December 27, 2007 of the Government functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of health;

Pursuant to Decree 22/2010/ND-CP dated 9/3/2010 the Government's amendments and supplements article 3 of Decree 188/2007/ND-CP on December 27, 2007 of the Government functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of health pursuant to decision No. 3490/2001/QD-BYT ngày13/8/2001 of the Minister of Health issued a regulation on the management of chemicals preparations, insect, bactericide used in household and medical field;

Proposal of the Director of environmental health management, article 1. Directory of chemicals, preparations for use in the field of home appliances and health 1. Attached to this circular categories: a) chemicals, insecticides, preparations antibacterial use in household and medical field;

b) chemicals, preparations for destroying insects, bactericide registrations but limited use in the field of home appliances and health;

c) chemicals, preparations for destroying insects, bactericide is registered for use in household and medical fields.

2. Chemicals not in the categories specified in paragraph 1 of this article shall be the Ministry of health consider to allow or not allow the use for each specific case.

Article 2. Terms of implementation 1. This circular is effective from January 1st, 2011.

2. Annuls decision No 18/2008/QD-BYT on 16/5/2008 of the Minister of health on issuing list of chemicals, insecticides, preparations sterilizing are allowed to register to use, but registration is allowed limited use and prohibition of use in the field of home appliances and health in Vietnam in 2008.

In the process of implementation of the circular, if there are difficulties, obstacles and recommendations reflect on the Ministry of health (environmental health administration) to consider and resolve.
