Regulation of the import of raw wood from Cambodia

Base of Protocol 95 /2012/NĐ-CP November 12, 2012 of the Government on the stipulation of functions, duties, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Commerce;

Base of Protocol 12 /2006/NĐ-CP 23 January 2006 of the Government regulates the implementation of the Commercial Law on International Procurement Of Goods and Trade, sale, public and transit.

Performing the direction of the Prime Minister at the publication of No. 10146 /VPCP-KTN on 29 November 2013 of the Government Office on the Sweeping, Modification, addition, completion of the regulation of timber import management and public sector 17/TTg-KTN on 3 January 2014 of the Prime Minister for the importation of raw wood from Cambodia;

On the recommendation of the Bureau of Export-Import,

The Minister of Public Works issued a provision for the importation of raw materials from Cambodia as follows.

What? 1. Regulation of raw wood imports from Cambodia

Dercated on the licensing of the import, advance of raw wood reexporting from Cambodia stated at point 3, Section IV Digital. 04 /2006/TT-BTM April 6, 2006 of the Ministry of Commerce instructs several regulatory content at the Digital Protocol. 12 /2006/NĐ-CP 23 January 2006 of the Government regulates the implementation of the Commercial Law of Trade in International Procurement and the activities of purchasing, selling, machinization and transit of goods with foreign countries.

What? 2. Import Proceds

The trader imports raw wood from Cambodia as the procedure at the customs authority under the current regulations and does not have to apply for the importation permit of the Ministry of Commerce.

What? 3. Import Stores

1. International stores, main stores, shops and other attractions in the Metropolitan Area of Economic Zone are authorized by the Prime Minister.

2. sub-stores, border openers located outside of the Grocery Economic Zones but currently have enough Customs, Border, Audit and Technical facilities guarantee state management by regulation at No. 2-The-One News Agency. 13 /2009/TT-BCT June 3, 2009, by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Commerce provides the export of the goods through the side stores, the opening of the border outside the stores.

What? 4. The responsibility of the trader

The merchant imports of raw wood from Cambodia must comply with the laws of Cambodia and the law of Vietnam.

What? 5. Effect of execution

This message is valid from the date of the signing.
