REST weekly for the staff of establishments gourmet and HOTELIERS rules the Senate and the Chamber of representatives of the Republic East of the Uruguay, gathered at General Assembly, Decree: article 1.-declared that the weekly rest period of thirty-six consecutive hours arranged by article 1 of law No. 12.468, of December 12, 1957, for the staff of food establishments (hotels (, restaurants, inns, shops and the like), must in any case include the full day of the next day to having served forty-four hours per week of work load. The same regime shall apply to the staff of the hotel business in general. Article 2.-the minimum number of hours of rest in the activities referred to in the preceding article will not be less than sixteen hours for each period of 24 hours.     Hall of sessions of the Senate, in Montevideo, December 7, 2011.
