GASTRO " MICA AND HOTELIERS

NORMAS

The Senate and the CA of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, meeting in General Assembly,

DECREE:


ArtAculoA 1Aº. -A Declare the weekly break of thirty-six consecutive hours arranged by the article A 1Aº of the Law No 12.468, of 12 December 1957, for the staff of the gastronical establishments (hotels, restaurants, fondas, conferAas and the like), should in any case understand the Antegra day of the next day have fulfilled the burden of forty-four hours of work per week.

The same application will apply to staff in hotel activity in general.

ArtAculoA 2Aº. -A minimum number of hours of rest in the activities referred to in the previous article will not be less than sixteen hours for each 24-hour period.
