BICENTENNIAL of the inauguration of LA library national authorizing the CENTRAL Bank to proceed with the MINTING of commemorative coins in General Assembly, the Senate and the Chamber of representatives of the Republic East of the Uruguay, they Decree: article 1.-authorized the Central Bank of Uruguay to the minting of commemorative coins of the 200th anniversary of the opening of the national library to quantities and with features that are determined in the following articles. Article 2.-the Central Bank of Uruguay will coining up to 5,000 (five thousand) units with the following characteristics: the face value of each unit will be $2,000 (two thousand Uruguayan pesos). The coin is silver with a fine of 900 (nine hundred) mil. You will accept a tolerance for alloy of 2% (two percent). It will have 25 (twenty-five) grams of weight and 37 (thirty-seven) mm in diameter. Weight tolerance is 2% (two percent) per each thousand. Article 3.-the Central Bank of Uruguay will determine the ornamental elements of the currencies that aludirán to the 200th anniversary of the opening of the national library. Article 4.-empowering the Central Bank of Uruguay to sell foreign coins whose minting is authorized by this Act, to have its demonetization, as well as the subsequent disposal of desmonetizadas parts.
