REPLACEMENT OF ARTICLES 3Aº AND 5Aº OF LAW Nº 16,021

The Senate and the CA of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, meeting in General Assembly,

DECREE:

ArtAculoA 1Aº. -A Sustit the 3Aº of the Law No 16,021of 13 April 1989, for the following:

“ARTACULOA 3Aº.-The children of the persons to whom the quality of nationals, born outside the national territory, is awarded to them by the Article 2Aº of this law, will have the quality of naturalsâ€.

ArtAculoA 2Aº. -A Sustit, then the 5 Aº of the Law No 16,021of 13 April 1989, for the following:

“ARTACULOA 5Aº.-The justification of the ends required in the fourth preceding article will be made before the Electoral Court which, once I have found compliance with, as a minimum, two of the requirements (literals A, B, C, D, E or F), proceed without a limit to the registration in the corresponding registrationâ €.
