PRA ' ROGA OF THE DURATION OF THE STAY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE
NATIONAL ARMED FORCES

The Senate and the CA of Representatives of the Eastern Republic of Uruguay, meeting in General Assembly,

DECREE:

ArtAculoA 1Aº. -A Prorrógase until December 31, 2016 the stay outside the country of the Military Contingent deployed in the Republic of HaitA, authorized by the Laws Nos. A 17,785, dated 22 June 2004, 17,860, dated 28 December 2004, 17,926, dated 15 December 2005, 17.992, dated 20 July 2006, 18.163, dated July 29, 2007, 18.225, dated 22 December 2007, 18,443, dated 24 December 2008, 18.655, dated 9 April 2010, 18.727, dated January 5, 2011, 18.864, dated 23 December 2011, 19,053, dated 4 January 2013, 19,186, dated 30 December 2013, and 19.309, dated 7 January 2015.

ArtAculoA 2Aº. -A Without prejudice to what is established in the preceding article, if the United Nations resolves the completion of the United Nations Stabilization Mission in the Republic of Haita (MINUSTAH) Before that date, the Executive Branch will proceed to withdraw the deployed personnel, under the conditions agreed upon with the said organization.

However, the Executive Branch may at any time, within the prescribed period of time and by reason of decision, reduce the number of troops deployed and even proceed to the full withdrawal of the troops, He told the General Assembly.
