 1. To bring to the Law of Ukraine " On standards, technical and   
rules and procedures for conformity assessment   3164-15  )   
(Information of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, 2006, N 12, pp.  (101)   
changes:   
 (1) Part of the second article 5 shall be taught in such an editorial:   
 " National standards, technical regulations and procedures   
The conformity assessment should be based on:   
 international standards if they are already accepted or   
are in the final stages of development, except for   
cases if they are ineffective or inappropriate due to   
insufficient level of protection or basic climatic, geographical   
conditions, features of the state, conditions and essential technological   
problems;   
 regional standards-only if international   
standards cannot be used for reasons defined in the   
Previous paragraph   
 standards, technical regulations and evaluation procedures   
the relevance or their respective parts of the states that are members of the   
relevant international or regional organizations, or with   
concluded relevant international treaties of Ukraine (treaties)   
mutual recognition, development and application of standards,   
Technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures);   
 Scientific achievements, knowledge and practices ";   
 (2) Part of the second article 8, set out in this edition:   
 " Proposal to develop a national standard   
considered by the relevant Technical Committee on   
Priorities in standardization.  Making decisions about   
suggestions for the development of the national standard   
The technical committee should take into account clean international or   
regional standards, or such that are in final   
the development stage, as well as the features of the state, the appropriate   
information, geographical and climatic characteristics of the country and   
the level of its economic development.  With this advantage, the application   
has to be provided by a valid or closing date.   
The project stage, the international standard.  Other standards other than   
international, can only be used if   
the use of an international standard or its part would be   
inefficient or inappropriate for such reasons, in particular as: requirements   
National security; preventing fraudulent actions; protecting life   
or health, animals or plants, as well as environmental protection;   
climate or other geographical factors; essential technological or   
Infrastructure issues ";   
 (3) Article 29 after part of the first supplement   
such content:   
 " In case there are relevant instructions or recommendations   
are issued by international standards bodies, already exist or their

a well-established system.  In these cases, organs from the conformity assessment   
must be asked for reasons not to be used   
international rules or recommendations ".   
 In this regard, part of the second is to be considered accordingly.   
The third is eighth.   
 2. This Act will take effect from the day of its publication.
